Teddy Bear

This is Teddy Bear, a wonderful, lovable cat who lives in Colorado with adoptive parents.  He is done in watercolor/acyrlic on 140 lb watercolor paper. In real life he is a bit lighter, but I don't think he will mind this likeness.  It was fun creating him.

TODAY IN THE PONDEROSA FOREST OF NORTHERN ARIZONA IT IS HOT!  89 DEGREES IS EXPECTED.  AS FOR ME I AM ENJOYING THE ENTERIOR OF MY HOUSE IN A/C.
THE CLOUDS ARE ALSO BUILDING, WE ARE HOPING FOR THAT RAIN, WHICH SEEMS TO ELUDE US.  I'M JUST TAKING IT EASY, AND HOPE YOU ARE COOL AND NAPPING TOO!

Tahoe is finally finished. She was  done with watercolor, watercolor pencils, and acyrlic on 140lb paper. Check out Rtist.com for information on purchasing her.
She is a rescue cat and now has a loving home in Colorado.

Her fur was the hardest thing to accomplish.  I am happy with the results.

IT'S TRYING VERY HARD TO RAIN.  I WAS PLANNING ON TAKING MY DAILY SUNBATH ON THE PATIO, BUT IT HAS ALREADY BEGAN TO SPRINKLE.  IT SURE IS WARM ENOUGH, THE WEATHER BUREAU REPORTS 81 DEGREES.  OH WELL THERE IS ALWAYS TOMORROW!

Today, it is great outside, my bff  went with me for my morning walk.  The sun is out, the air is cool and it is breezy.  I love it. No rain forcast for today in the northern Arizona ponderosa forest.

I'm starting a watercolor of Tahoe, a very shy cat, who lives with his bbf Julie in Colorado.  He is a beautiful gray and white beauty.


I also added Sparky to my rtist.com site.  He is an original Second Chance for Animals dog who has been adopted , Yippe!

Gertie our bassethound was a good subject for my latest watercolor on 140 lb paper as shown on rtist.com. She possed  in the photo taken two days ago which was used to create her painting.  I used some stippling this time and it has worked out well.

Gertie the Weather Pup:  Today the rain clouds are building.  I loved the rain yesterday, and hope it does the same today here in the ponderosa forest. It is cool and dry now.

Gertie the Weather Pup reports:
 Plenty of rain today in northern Arizona, or in other words just like Cats & Dogs! She also reports the earth smells so good, clean dirt!  It has been dry for so long, she says her heels usually kick up fine dirt.

As for me I have been working with watercolor, my blog heading is Princie, our border collie.  She was difficult to create at first.  I took this image from a photo of her.  I had trouble getting the right look.  I was happy with the 5th try outcome.
